VDO Cycle Computers

I've one VDO X3DW and I've two bikes. I bought additional mounting kit, cadence and speed transmitters for the second bike but I can't get the computer to recognise when it's plugged into bike2 and it records all the info as if on bike1. From reading the manual this is something that the computer is supposed to automatically recognise.

Has anyone one of these computers paired with two bikes and have it working properly? Is there something perhaps internally on the transmitter that I need to flick/set to bike2 so that sends out a different signal?

Have a look at Section 5.5/Page 46 of this manual for information about initially setting the transmitter to bike 2. Additionally, page 3 of the picture book is relevant. Basically it seems that there is indeed a switch inside the transmitter that should be set to bike 2 before you use the transmitter on bike 2 with the computer for the first time. Now it's probably still possible for you to flick the switch, and resync the transmitter, but obviously only info from then on will be counted towards bike 2.
