i received grant in first and second year and am now entering 3rd year. do i need to reapply as i didnt have to when i was entering 2nd year and i am also outside the 45km distance. any help appreciated :)

most vec's have a renewal/continuation form to be filled out by students.
contact your local vec and ask them what to do.
