Help with samsung galaxy s1!

    i'm trying to download skype from the android market for my galaxy! it downloads then every damn time when its installing it pops up installation unsuccessful insufficient memory. yet i have loads of space on phone memory, internal and external memory card! any ideas????

    Restart the phone, try again.

    Could be referring to RAM.

    i have about 150mb ram free, tried turning it off leaving it off for an hour and still no joy!!!!

    Any other ideas???

    What version of Android are you running? Any custom ROM?

    150mb should be more than enough. I currently can't see any reason why it's not working. Try googling the problem too. Chances are someone else has had this issue before.

    Seems to just be an issue if the phone isn't on Froyo or Gb. This warning is on the app in the market.

    Thanks for that dude! pain in the bum especially as i've had it on my phone before and everything was working fine up until a few weeks ago and i uninstalled it and then when i tried to re-install it all this happened!!!!! oh well!!!
