    Hi All,
    I'm in a bit of a pickle......
I was on the verge of buying a LaPierre Xelius 700 for €3000 from my LBS but then saw a Ribble in a cycling magazie. I was able to spec up a Ribble Stealth with the same Ultegra 6700 group set, Mavic Elite wheels, carbon seat post etc for €2500.

The Stealth got a great review in bikeradar.com but reviews for the Xelius 700 are few and far between.

The RRP for the Xelius is abount €3500 so I'm wondering if the Stealth too good to be true? I'm not a brand snob so couldn't care even if the bike was blue, white and red with Tesco value down the tube.

I'l be using the bike mainly for fast long rides with very little racing. It's really just to keep up a good level of fitness.

Any comments are very much appreciated

    Thanks

    Hey ByeBye,
How long have you been waiting for the Stealth? I called them the other week and they said turnaround time on all bikes is 10-15 days but there's a mixed reaction online to their service times.

You'd get a lovely planet x for that money....

I know, that's number 3 on my list!! There's a lot of great bikes for the money I have budgeted for. I'm in thar range where there is so much choice.
There's just something about the Planet X bikes that I've never liked.
Can't put my finger on it though, I've heard great things about them but just never felt comfortable on them.
