A&E In Carlow?

    Hello people of Carlow!

    Is there an A&E in Carlow? What are the hospital facilities there?

    There are no A&E facilities in Carlow, the nearest general hospital is Kilkenny.

    St Lukes Hospital Freshford Road Kilkenny covers Carlow & Kilkenny

    I believe if you vote in the Wicklow Constituency you are entitled to treatment in Naas hospital A&E

    Hi Einhard.

    While we don't have an A&E we do have a CareDoc for Emergencies outside of normal doctors hours, manly used for smaller issues, if they suspect your injuries are serious they will just tell you to go straight to KK Hospital instead.

    Just as an addendum to that you pay €50 for Caredoc but if you are sent on to A&E in KK your fee there is waived.
