I have the 9100 parrot kit and the remote control unit is crap. It goes non responsive and requires the nattery to be removed/replaved and pair the unit with the kit again. It's down to the build quality if the control unit. The sound quality of the unit is excellent and voice quality on the other end is very good when driving, it's just let down by the remote control.

Yeah installer guy recommended I go with the non-screen version (Trusty one) for these reasons as I would be using the kit in a "work" environment. He reckoned there was more issues with the screen display models.
