What would you fight through zombie hordes to deliver or retrieve?

As my hero Sterling Archer would say "My plan is to crowd-source a plan."

So - we're working on a video project for our ZombieWalk in October. It's a planned 5-6 webisode a bit like a survivors journal.

The 2 primary characters are journeying into the center of Zombie central to deliver something they believe is very important, a MacGuffin to you gamers/writers, but they don't know what it is - think the briefcase in Pulp Fiction.

So - what are they carrying?

Put another way - what would YOU fight through zombie hordes to deliver, or retrieve for that matter. What's the one thing you'd risk infection and your life for that would be of benefit during the Zpoc?

the only thing I'd Deliver is my Lilly White Ass to Safety:p

that said tho, if you were going to sway me to take on a Suicide Run the package would have to be of monumental significance, somethig like a Blood sample from someone with immunity or something else that could tangibly lead to a cure.

I'd retrieve my kids. sorry, its sappy but I'd have to, couldn't not give them a chance.

To deliver.....hmmmm......can't think of anything other than things that would get me out of the situation, i.e. a part for a weapon, an ingrediant for a cure

To change it up a bit -

What would be the most valuable thing in the Zpoc?

    Your favorite book?
    Your kid?
    Fuel?

A cure is a given, though the idea of a blood sample is quite nice.

We're lookin' for something a bit more obtuse than the usual. Funny stuff could apply but we're trying to keep a rather serious tone up until the end... :D

    Information would be very important.

If I had this kind of information and knew it was vital to the survival of the human race that my community had the information to succeed as a new civilisation I'd risk a lot to ensure it got to the right people.

It would have to be something like that. You could make it sentimental but when it is it doesn't really matter to anybody else if they make it or not. It's nice if they do but no baring on the greater picture as all those stories will be lost when there's no one around to pass them on.

Yeah but Information is in itself Fack all use without the knowledge of how to use it.

you could have all the nescessary books to rebuild society, but what if they're written in Hungarian and you dont have a Hungarian Dictionary???

would you risk your life for that Dictionary???

it would have to be something small and something that is readily identifiable as Important to anyone you explain it to, it has to be something that Everyone would readily rtisk their lives for, no offence RedXIV but important as your kids are to you I've no attachment to them.
Either a Cure, or conversley another Virus that neutralises the Solanum Virus would be the only things IMO worth risking my Life or the lives of those I encounter for

My kids could BE the cure!!!

I agree though, If I were delivering something I imagine it being "Ingredient X" which we've searched for for years to finally create a cure

I forgot the link. It's Tabnabs one link to rule them all. If I had them on DVD it would be pretty important.

All valid ideas and points. Info in any form is key although learning Hungarian would NOT be my strong suit. :p

And I'm with ya RedXIV - I'd had to try and get my kids to safety, etc. In absence of anything else at least they are still there.

So - what would be INTERESTING to have to retrieve or deliver? Something to spice up the script we're working on...

I like the Ingrediant X, but when you open the briefcase, it's actually weapon X. hugh Jackman bursts out, claws flying, Zombies running for safety. The truth is, you never really risked your life. Wolverine had your back the whole time... Peace out

The location of, and instructions of how to opperate an underground facility that can accomodate hundreds of people, with the necessary equipment to feed them over the long term as well as an arsenal to strike back at the Zombies with.

    * the last soylent green meal
    * the mona lisa
