Working in England???

    Hi,

    Beign an Electrician in Ireland and not having any luck finding work here for the past few months I am now thinking about moving to England.

    Does anyone know if I have to sit certain exams to be able to work over there? Would I have to do a lot or just sit an exam on the English Regs? City and Guilds?

    If so could you point me in the right direction because I dont think the Fas qualification is automatically recognised.:mad:

    Think I can work as an Electricians mate but want to get paid the proper rate!!!
