Hey all, Just received my first Macbook ytday and am quite excited as to the photo editing opportunities on offer. I was wondering if anyone might be in a position as to advise as to iPhoto best practices? It's strange but when I import my photos from their various folders, it doesn't seem to preserve the hierarchy…

Hey all,

Just received my first Macbook ytday and am quite excited as to the photo editing opportunities on offer. I was wondering if anyone might be in a position as to advise as to iPhoto best practices?

It's strange but when I import my photos from their various folders, it doesn't seem to preserve the hierarchy much...it seems to just lump all the photos together in one window.

How is iPhoto regarded here? Should I be looking at something a little more suited to workflow management?
