Local News from other sites can now be put on there own thread but they must have 1 thread that is updated and not many spammy threads that happened in the past, so for example Fight Hounds can have a fight hounds news page and update it when they have new relevant news.

If it's abused privilidges wil be removed and posters infracted/banned, also as a poster contribute to the forum, and don't just post about your site all the time, that will be considered an account made for advertising which is still against the charter.

Bump as people have not seen the new change, it's for the best of community that the sites have local news etc

Must admit I don't agree with the change on the basis that: there is a lot of decent MMA sites out there and with the change means we are probably going to have a: Fighters only thread, MMA Junkie thread, A sherdog thread, An ESPN MMA thread. The list is going to be endless and I think it is going to take away a bit of discussion from the thread.

No the dedicated threads are for local Irish sites not Espn etc, if it's not working, simples we can revert back to the other way which to be honest was not been used by most members and lots of news was been isolated, would be ideal if the sites also direct traffic this way too so it's not s 1 way street :)
