Alot of excitement for this big game next weekend. The Dublin based Supporters of both teams have got together and are hosting a pre-match event next Wednesday. It's not only limited to Mayo and Roscommon natives and a good night is guaranteed.

Can we transition this to a pre-match discussion thread too? Certainly close enough to the match for it now!

Outside of the result, I really hope the weather holds up and both teams get to showcase the best of Connacht and prove that Connacht teams can still operate at a high skill level. We got terrible luck with both semi-finals being drenched and it only helped further the somewhat-misguided notion of a dead rubber province.

If nothing else it's really bonded me with the other Connacht counties and whenever we're not playing each other I'm fully behind each team. I can't say that was fully the case before!

Even if my native Mayo aren't in the mix and one of the others, Roscommon, Galway, Sligo or Leitrim remain then they can expect support from this quarter.

It could just be a West of Ireland thing.
