    Hello to all

Does a BEC have spin? Can it be measured?

    Thanks.

This is purely off the top of my head, having studied this last 6 years ago. Could be completely wrong!

Bose-Einstein condensate is made of Bosons?
    Bosons can have Integer spin?.....0,1,2,3
B-E condensate spin is the sum of the individual Bosons spins (which could be a large number) so I'd imagine if its a gas condensate then they average out to zero but if there is some sort of EM field applied then they might have a tendency to align with certain field direction and actually have a spin sum > 0??????

Serious rimming it in the above. Sorry. But noone else was replying :(
