UPC Broadband Channel

My UPC broadband will not transmit wirelessly on Router Channel 1 so after a call to UPC tech support I changed it to Channel 11 and everything worked fine. However it now keeps resetting back to Channel 1 after a few days or if I switch the router off and I lose wireless again and have to connect via cable and change back…
