    Hi Folks,

I was hoping for a little (or a lot) advise/direction. I have unexpectedly won I nice commission. When I say unexpectedly I mean I was contacted out of the blue by a company who was redeveloping a public gardens here in Ireland. They wished to secure a photographer to capture the work as it progressed through to launch, slated for March 2012. As they worked on the brief they asked me to attend site in June to do one day to capture the plants in flower at that point, which they have paid for.

We have been back and forth since then as the have modified the brief and secured stock for a lot of the plant images they were looking for.

The long and the short of it is they have not issued a PO against an agreed fixed cost for me to deliver against their brief. I therefore now need to draw up a contract to ensure everything is watertight from my side, not just in defining the deliverable to meet the brief but also to lock down licensing terms which we have also agreed.

Wow sorry long post. I'm looking for some direction of either securing a proforma contract I can adapt, or better still a knowledgeable solicitor who knows copyright and licensing and can assist on drawing one up.

Appreciate any assistance you can offer?
