Recently tried to install a y splitter in the attic to feed to siting and bedroom tv's. Sitting room worked okay not great but ok and in the bedroom poor signal. Their was a booster box in the sitting room so i bought 1 for the bedroom and still nothing. I tried plugging the aerial directly into the bedroom and it was almost perfect(by perfect it was jumpy at times on the digital) until i used the booster and again no channels. Any help would be brill tanx..:)

Can you post a link, photo or description of the kind of Y-splitter & 'booster' you are using?
Sounds like the signal needs to be amplified before it's split or in a distribution amplifier (includes amp & splitter) in the attic.

Have you a masthead amplifier? The booster near the TV may be a power supply unit for the masthead. If that is so, you might be stopping it working with you splitter. Post photos of all the bits.
