Divorce problem

A friend of mine who is Irish, married an American woman and both lived in America. They divorced last year, 2010. My question is, he has a house here in Ireland. He intends on finishing the house and selling it. Would his ex wife be entitled to any of the money when sold?

That is a question he should ask his solicitor.
