    Down in Athlone for the weekend. Anyone know any nice longish (10k+) trail runs around the area they'd care to share?

    If you head in the direction of Roscommon, there are some lovely trails in Moate Park (around 14 miles from Athlone). Google StreetView link here (zoom out for map).
