    Hi,

Anyone know how long you can leave a top up sim card without actually topping up. I want to use one for one of those GSM gate opener devices.

The different networks probably have different timeframes....if anyone can help.

The device doesnt need any credit to be on the SIM.

    Thanks

You'd need to make a chargeable call every 5/6 months.

Thats for an o2 sim OP. Best option to get, as other networks require you to topup to quick the account active, o2 only require you to make call or send a text once every 6 months. So one ten euro topup could last you years
