Black box in corner of screen?

    Lookin for some help on this. Only been happening the last couple of days, my ps3 is connected to tv thru hdmi and it works perfectly. But lately I've noticed a black box popping up in the corner of the screen for about 2 seconds every 15 minutes or so. At first I thougt it was only happening on blu rays but I've noticed it on games too.

    Any ideas?

    Is it people signing in and out?

    Could also be your PSN signing in / out

    Or even your media centre reconnecting

    Is there any text?

    It's not the sign in /out box or friend box, I know what that looks like :P

    It comes up in the opposite corner, the top left corner, it's about 1/5 the screen size, no text. Just a black square. Could be a problem wit the hdmi cable?

    Could be yeah.

    Have you got a RCA cable you could try, or another HDMI?
