Acer Aspire 5375z - Interesting Question

Hello. Was just curious if anyone has had this issue...

I recently purchased a second hand Aspire 5375z laptop. The laptop was as new, boxed with everything included. To be honest I dont think it had even been turned on!

Everything worked apart from the webcam (all software, drivers etc installed, but no webcam in the device driver section)

After getting fairly fecked off I wondered if it actually HAD a webcam in it?? The lid plastics have the triangle shaped clear plastic for the webcam to look through. So I popped off the bezel (original glue on the rubber feet, no marks on the screws or plastics) and to my amazement there was no webcam there at all!!!!!! Just a connector which still had the factory tape on it sticking it to the back of the lid to stop it moving around. Nothing inside had been touched, all tape was in origional positions.

Anyone else had this or similar??????

What did the shop say when you returned it?
