Hi, Quick question ive just finished 2nd in Business and will be on INTRA next year, have just received my grant renewal form in the door.

Are you entitled to your maintenance grant while doing INTRA? As in should i apply, i assumed i would not be able to claim it but would be a great shock to find out i could. I was relying on gettin a loan to cover the costs of INTRA and paying it back with the money i earned.

    Cheers

Will you be paid for INTRA? Are you a mature student? What part of the year is INTRA in...

These questions I kinda need to know the answer too, but in short I would imagine yes is the answer as any income you earn cannot effect this years grant application but can effect next years and it INTRA is in term time, like nurses who get paid and still get the grant its fine.

As intra is an integrated work placement module, it is classified under the grant scheme as coursework, so you are entitled to a grant.

I am currently on Intra (april-sept), getting paid and I qualified for the full maintanence grant last year

    Definitely apply!
