Looking to change online broker advice needed

    Hi there I am currently with TD waterhouse but would like to find another broker.
    I have found their customer service atrocious,delays in payments making me miss other trades and lose money.
    Getting a response a week later after sending an email.
    I need an account to deal with day trades and international markets with low commissions.
    Any advice very welcome

    i like odl markets..
    good service, cheapish execution..
    i find the customer service team very responsive..

    FYI, ODL Securities has been acquired by FXCM (Foreign exchange capital markets). As far as I know, the only deal with NYSE and NASDAQ listed stocks. Check their website and phone them up to make sure though.

    incorrect.
    Its still possible to trade european stocks since the takover.

    ive only recently moved to TD WATERHOUSE , was with goodbodys but found them extremley expensive for trades , twice the price of waterhouse

    Right, for existing customers. But if you want to open an account now, you would have to open a FXCM North-American-markets-only account. It's not still possible to open an ODL account, or have I got that wrong?

    oh sorry.. dont know about the story for new customers..
    Surely if they are continuing to provide the service to existing customers, they may aswell offer it to new clients..
