Hi does anybody have or does anybody know anyone or anything about these bikes? i stumbled across it on wiggle. it appears to have really good components for the price, but i'm new to road bikes so could stand to be corrected. any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/battaglin-start-2011 is the first google suggestion for this bike, So is that where you saw it?
Campag Veloce on one bike works just the same as on any other!
Battaglin is a small Italian bike maker, and this frame looks tidy enough for a starter bike.
The rest of the parts on it are fine as starter material, and nothing on it will let you down. The tyres are not great however, but that won't matter much, as you will probably be changing them soon with winter roads ahead!
Can't really comment on the value, but it's a nice enough little machine, with Campag which is always nice! (I've had a Battaglin myself - And a certain Mr. S. Roche won a few races on Battaglins also.)
