    Hey,
Applied for this through the FAS site back at the end of May. There were 10 jobs going , starting in August/September.

I never heard a dickie bird and just wondering if anyone else did? Can I assume I'm not in the running. Did an interview for another job yesterday that went very well , it's starting first week of Sept too but the pay is less and it's a longer commute so would like to rule out the civil service job before I take the other.

Have you tried ringing the Civil Service/PAS directly? You might save yourself some time and worry.

Called the Thurles FAS office. First she told me to call my own local FAS office. I explained that all applications were to be sent to their office so then she asked me for the ref number and after putting me on hold for a good 5 minutes came back and said we only foward the CVs.

So at this point I'm just trying to see if any other applicants heard anything because I'm not sure how to contact the Civil Service.
