Iphone 4 help.....

    Hi guys,

    Installed some random app last night and resprung - since then i cannot use the touch screen. The phone boots up ok but i cannot enter any passcode etc. The only buttons that work are the home and sleep when pressed together so i did a full power off power on with no luck. Can anyone advise if i can force into safe mode somehow so i could uninstall the app? I have had a look at putty on my laptop but i dont know what settings etc to use when connecting to teh phone via usb. Im also not sure if i have an ssh client installed on my phone. The phone is being picked up by itunes but i really want to avoid a restore if possible

    It's ok i got it sorted. Couldn't use SSH putty etc because i've a firewall on the iphone. Using ifunbox as outlined in the attached article allowed me root access though and i could copy in the file and force the phone into safe mode. At least i can now use the touchscreen.
