Citroen Xsara Carvan - Any comments ?

    Never had one but they seem pretty reliable...:)
    The 1.9 engine are a great engine with really little to go wrong with them.:)
    Maybe we have a few owners here who can comment on there Xsara's..?

    I drove the 1.9 for around a year. Thinking back it was a good van, Company bought it new, It is comfortable but the 1.9 is not a turbo and can be a bit slow. I drove it around the country. There was some electrical problems, central locking would lock doors, even when driving and you had to wait to get out... But the company had about 15 of these and only mine gave bother. If you are going for one, I would advise getting the 2.0hdi engine, has more poke.

    I would not be a fan of French cars, but if I was buying a carvan of that vintage, I would have no problem in buying a Xsara
