Tesco Online shopping - payment services down

    Is this down for everyone else ?

    Been trying to check out, on and off, since 11 PM last night.
    Keep getting
    Sorry, you have entered an invalid card number.

    Tried two different valid cards on two different PCs - was in touch with the card issuer MBNA, who HAVE 24 hour support - nothing wrong their side.

    Missed my delivery spot this morning and all.

    Is there any excuse for Tesco not having 24 hour support for their online shopping ?
    Or an automated test service that can tell them when payments aren't going through ?

    I had this problem with my credit card last week, ended up using the Laser. Bit ****ty that you lost your delivery spot. Give them a call when they open their lines.

    On to them now .. I've tried two cards - Visa Debit from my bank and the MBNA card. Different errors from both but neither work.

    On the phone now to them

    EDIT
    Off the phone now, pretty clueless. No resolution. Off to Superquinn !

    Fixed now - payment just went through.
    No idea what it was I'm afraid, I'm assuming Tesco did something after the call.
