I am considering updating my HE system. I currently have a Philips 42" Plasma with a Sony BD player. I also have Sky HD and a Wii connected. I have been looking around and was thinking of getting a Cinema BD system and a new TV, old one is scraped. I under stand what 1080p means, but on the HZ, what is the higher limit.…

I have been looking around and was thinking of getting a Cinema BD system and a new TV, old one is scraped. I under stand what 1080p means, but on the HZ, what is the higher limit. From reading here, 50Hz is slow, but what would a good rating be? Also what would be considered a good package? Do I stock witht eh big brand names, Sony, LG etc or would there be another name that would supply a good system?
