Do you have a rifle of your own or are you looking to be brought out as a novice. Or is it some experience before you apply for your own license.

I just had a look at that website. They don't give out much info on it. Where abouts is it based.

If you have a deer licence and rifle you already have permissions, why not go out on them?

Bino's and on yer bike is teh only way to spot deer.
Or go to areas that look like deer areas.
Fallow love a bit of cover, a bit of grazing and Barley if they can get it :D
Also close to a water source and Normally land with no livestock on it.

(although I have seen deer 5 times lately in the far end of a sheep field)

Well I meet the owner of one of my permsiions, told me the deer are trapising across the daughters new lawn!! You just need to get out and look for them especially early in the morning and late in the evening!!

If you have the hunting permit and said calibre for deer stalking Mad Sca, why are you looking to go hunting presumably with a guide or paying trip? Or are you looking to accquire new ground? Presumably the ground you have has deer on it otherwise the npws wouldnt have given the permit to you?!!!;)

I've been up around Kilbride and the Sally-Cap in the last few days exercising the dogs - the amount of deer in the area is staggering!!. Every forest clearing has does and calves in abundance. Also spotted a large herd of bucks on the higher land(over 30 animals). Whoever has the permissions up there is in the clover!!

Foynes Co. Limerick, hunting West Limerick, North Kerry I believe, used to know the guy running it, long time hunter, economic times, change of job , started this business up, no idea how it's going, knew it was there, so I put it up, no idea what the bucks are either.
