    Hi Guys,
    Always wanted to go there...
Thing is im always bored without my car on hols. I want to go to places i like off the beaten track a little bit, and hate being stuck with public transport...
    The car does 60mpg diesel.

    Thinking about:
1 - Ferry to holyhead (320eur return for both of us)
    2 - a night in the UK
3 - then the chunnel(200eur return for the 2 of us)
4 - and a night or two in France.
5 - Then the German Alpine road to Italy and another few nights.
6 - Lake Como for a few more nights then home...

    10 days total probably...

Ryanair flights to Bergamo are 480eur return for the 2 of us Aug10-20
    Looking to go Mid August.
Biggest problem is herself gets car sick sometimes. But she also gets airsick, so its much of a muchness i spose...
    Any comments?

Id go for it if I were you. Id imagine theres some epic driving around that area. Always wanted to do one of those Top Gear style Eurotrips, pity us mere mortal have to do it minus the Ferrari or Aston Martin, but still.....

Dr. Nic, I've been looking at ferries to France for August. Go into landbridge on stenaline. They offer Dublin-Holyhead and Dover-Calais for 370 return for car and 2 adults. Heading to Cannes ourselves.
