Wow this sounds so familiar!! we are getting married in november in the registry office in cork. Only going to be about 15 of us there and off for a meal afterwards. That evening though we were hoping to have party with buffet for about 85 in total. Sorry i'm of no help to you as I don't know any decent dublin venues but at least you know there's someone else out there in the same boat!!!

Tailor's Hall, Christchurch. I did a wedding party here recently. Its plenty big for the people you have and has a nice outdoor space.

The Hilton hotel in Kilmainham is good and fairly close to city centre. Had a party there last year after getting married abroad. Room holds max 100 (10 tables of 10) and the room hire was free and their resident DJ was fairly cheap too. Compared to other hotels which were looking for €600 + just for the room this was a bargain and it was brilliant.

We did ours in the odeon upstairs, exactly the same scenario as you, civil ceremony, restaraunt lunch, and then a party! They were very helpful and the room was perfect.

The Odeon is a great room too. Music can go on till 2.30 am!
