    Hi all,
After buying a 09 Focus for myself, I gave my older car to my dad. My dad now wants to sell his old car for me and give me the money in return but we are unsure what to price it at tbh. We're under no delusions regarding a massive price, but wondering what everyone here thinks!

1997 White Nissan Primera 1.6 Petrol, 175K Miles NCT till February 2012. I dont have any pictures but it is in good condition.

I'm only really looking for a price to start negotiations really. Would 600 be too much to ask for it?

    Thanks all!

600 would probably be fair price at which you could advertise the car. I would take any offer that is close to 500 for it. Is there any tax on it?

im sure you will have a few calls at that price with the nct, start of at that if your happy with it and if no calls after a week drop the price! good luck with the sale and be prepaird for plenty of swap offers!

Good catch...tax expired at the start of July 2011.

Not that it would any value to the car, but some tax would definitely help to shift the car.
