Have a warning light showing on the dash that failed on NCT. It's the traction control light. Anyway been to a couple of garages and it's been narrowed down to the Yaw sensor. bit of an expensive replacement at 800+ vat and lab. A quick google says a clean might solve it so i'd like to give that a try before i go down the replacement road.

My only problem is i haven't a clue where it is. I'm not a mechanic obviously but i think i'd be technically capable of opening and cleaning an electrical connector.

    Thanks in advance.

    It's under the back seat

    Sound Colm.
Just to update i found out where it was had a twiddle with it plugged it out and back in again and voila the light went off, she drove it back into the tester and passed nay bother.

And to think a garage might very well have ended up takin the bones of a grand off us. VW garage wanted 60 quid just to look at it.
