I thought it be easier to read if you have a seperate thread for each weekend.

My bets for this weekend are:

Kildare -2 vs Laois( Laois are a very average team and Kildare are a very solid outfit in every phacet of the game)
Wexford +6 vs The Dubs ( Wexford are in free scoring mode and will put it up to Dublin for the first 3/4 of the game, and I dont think Dublin will destroy their fullback line like many believe)
Tipp -6 vs Waterford( Tipp are scoring goals for fun and will do so again on Sunday)

Hate to say it but looks good value..Think I will do that with Kildare -2

Wouldn't be mad on it. You know Cork will be solid, not spectacular. They were solid against Tipp, Laois and Offaly. Galway are an enigma awful or brilliant there seems to no middle ground. They were poor against Westmeath and God awful against Dublin.

Grand they played well against Clare but Clare choked big time. Personally I wouldn't touch this game with a barge pole(epecially if you're basing your opinion on the last round of games).

Will be on Kildare -2 as well, looks decent. Others that take my fancy would be Antrim +11, Waterford +6 and over 47 points in the Galway - Cork game (too tough to call outright I think)

im actually tempted by the odds of around 11/4 on laois on betfair, on the face of it kildare are worthy favorites, however laois coming off the back off an impressive win over tipperary have momentum and also home advantage, gaining promotion from division 2 this year was a bonus and i also feel that kildare are an over hyped team under kieran mc geeney. Saw them against both wicklow and dublin and wasnt bowled over either time, lets remember that dublin were down to 14 men for a large proportion of the second half puttin huge pressure on the fitness of their players with the system they play.

also worth looking at is the over 2.5 goals line on the wexford dublin game. 2 sides with impressive forwards and the wide spaces of croke park could produce goals aplenty. i have no doubt that wexford will be needing goals if they are to compete. 5/4 with ladbrokes.

Finally, in hurling, cork under 1.5 goals at 11/10 with powers is one with potential, cork have never been renowned as prolific goalscorers (laois aside) and despite galways woes against dublin the full back line was on top and didnt look like conceding. with collins kavanagh and moore in the full back line it looks solid and not likely to concede many goals

In fairness that was a shadow Tipp team with 6 players missing through emigration and injury and lets not forget that Kildare were the width of the crossbar away from the AI final last year, can anyone realistically see Laois reaching that level of performance?

Offaly should take Limerick this weekend it pains me to say. Missing their midfield (Jim donovan + John Galvin) and missing Lucey their centre back and Mark O'Riordan their corner back.

Just over 6/1, a nice winning weekend.

Sickened over the yellow bellies though, we had them rattled until the silly own goal
