External CD/DVD Drive for Notebook

I need to buy one for my notebook. I presume they work easily enough - just plug a USB cable into your notebook and away you go?? Also I presume a cheap one is grand?? Such as the one below? No need to make a major investment - just looking for one that does the job so to speak?…

There's a Samsung on Amazon for a few quid extra which gets great reviews. Would also qualify for free delivery.

Never heard of the Duronic brand.

In terms of using one I presume any computer idiot can use one (just plug it in via a USB cable and your sorted?)
