Maybe I'm wrong but would have assumed this will not be going ahead this year because of the RWC

the guinness series is the series of RWC warm-up games

I wouldn't imagine there any this year as the ticket pricing was restructured so to make tickets more available.

the premium level exists though? so why not sell tickets to it?

I dunno, take a look at www.ticketmaster.ie to see exactly what tickets are left. I know the England game is nearly a sell out already.

The clubs got their usual allocation of premium tickets.

the premium "mid-tier" seats have not been on public sale through ticket master yet or through the supporters club.

i assume they will be released at some point - just wondering why it hasn't been done yet. what's the irfu's strategy on this?

if the clubs got an allocation for the premier level then perhaps they sold them all and they may not end up on public sale

i doubt the club's "premium" allocation could take up the whole middle tier...

they didn't make any available to the supporters club which they did for the autumn internationals.

for the heineken cup semi a good few premium tickets went on sale a week or two before the game. although i know that was nothing to do with the irfu i wonder what exactly their ticketing strategy is for these games.

Wait to see if the bottom and top tier sells out is my guess. If they do then there'll be more demand for a small supply of tickets, even at premium prices.
