My Sigma 150-500 lens is doing my head in. It is quite sharp on my old 40d but is not close on my 7d. I have tried micro-adjusting -20 through to +20 and I am not getting anywhere close to the sharpness on the 40d. All the other lenses are perfect or have adjusted fine.
    Has anyone any ideas?

Is this a focus issue or is the extra resolution of the 7D just
better at showing the sharpness limits of the lens?

Try focusing on a page of text, a ruler or a focus test chart at
a 45 degree angle. This should show you whether you have a
    focus problem or not.

If you are shooting JPEG, make sure both cameras use the
same settings. It is probably best to use RAW for the comparison.
