My son (4) has recently been diagnosed. He's mostly affected in the speech department. He is quite good in most other respects.

St. Anne's in Ennis has a waiting list of one child. Doesn't sound like a long list, but that child could be waiting until someone emigrates.

Jonix in Limerick may have a space, depending on what another parent does.

I'm looking for a preschool / creche / Special Needs Assistant / childminder who uses PECS day to day. Pecs is kind of like flash cards for people with speech problems. They learn to use the cards to supplement speech.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

I would recommend giving the Clare Crusaders a call, they have a lot of parents in the same boat as you and could give you some great advice
