I heard the story during the week about the guy who saved the rabbit
I dont usally give to beggers, but I think we should all make an exception this once as he was very brave. If anyone is passing O connols bridge and you see this guy with the dog and rabbit throw him 20c, I did today and said hello to him and it felt good

MODs if you feel I'm out of line you can lock the thread

I would love to have a chat with him sometime if I ever was in Dublin, and give him either money or a sandwich or whatever.

*Runs off to buy rabbit, then make his way down to O'Connell bridge

Going into the city in a few days, my bus drops me right at this bridge so I'm going to have a look for him and give him something! I'm not well off and could only afford a few euros at most but to be honest I would rather bring him a sandwich and drink instead of giving money. Maybe a few snacks for his pets too! He's a very brave man and the whole story made me very emotional.

Well going by the OP's username they are probably don't like spending money unless they see a return on it.
