So how can we get John Perry to resign?

    So, he said he would resign if the services were not restored within 100 days, and he hasn't. What can we do to make it happen?

    Did he say he would resign his seat or just from Fine Gael? From that clip he says Fine Gael but I'm sure somewhere else he said seat.

    It doesn't matter. He's not going anywhere any time soon.

    btw, he's not the only one to have broken such election promises either.

    Every policition in the world should resign so..
    Im sure he made the promise in good faith based on his knowledge at the time.Sometimes even with the best will in the world these decisions simply aren't possible to keep..he did'nt decide to close it... may not have even be our governments decision..who knows what the EU are telling us to do these days

    Did any other politician say they would resign if a certain promise was not implemented? That's the sort of guarantee that gets him votes, and he has reneged on it.
