TCD Social Sciences Subjects ranked highly

    TCD social science subjects were ranked (yes, yes, rankings are somewhat pants but they are the only "objective" coff coff measure we have) highly in the latest QS rankings.

    Summary

    - TCD ranks 48th in the world and 11th in Europe in Sociology. TCD is the only Irish institution in top 50 in Sociology.

    - TCD is 50th in the world and 15th in Europe in Politics & International Studies. TCD is the only Irish institution in the top 50 in Politics & International Studies.

    - TCD is in the world top 100 in Law [along with UCC & UCD]

    - TCD is in the world top 100 in Economics [along with UCD]

    - TCD is in the world top 100 in Accounting & Finance – the only Irish institution In the Accounting & Finance top 100.

    Alarmingly no Irish university appears in the top 200 for Statistics and Operational Research.

    coming after the very high rankings for science and humanities, this shows strength in depth in College
