There is a grinding noise coming from the front axle of the Matbro 200. Any ideas what could be causing this. Tried changing oil to LS Gear Oil but still makes noise. No sign of any grit in the oil that was taken out.

Could be bearings, but if it is only when you press the brakes try puttin A S(anti-squak) oil additive in. Is it a ford axle?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

We used Fuchs LS 90 Gear oil before and it seemed to solve the problem. Put LS 90 gear oil (some other make) in it this time and it didn't help. Going to try to find the Fuchs oil and try that again.
You don't have to press the brake to hear the noise. Its like the front wheel gets it hard to turn when its in a certain position or when there is weight on the front.
