Buying wishbone bushings, tie rods etc

Hi, my last service report (Aug 2010) says that my LH & RH front wishbone rear bushings have play, my mechanic told me to buy new ones from powerflex.co.uk and he'd fit them at next service.

It also says the RH front wheel bearing has play, does this need replacing?

I got two new front tyres last week and was told I need two new inner tie rods at my next service, I can get these for about £12 each, but do they have anything to do with the parts mentioned above?

    Thanks for any help.

EDIT: It also says "Possible warped front brake discs" but I guess I should call him to see if they should be replaced. Any good sites to buy these from?

    Powerflex are good bushings...

    What car is it?

It's an 11 year old diesel golf, only 65k miles! I can get the bushings for £20 each, the inner tie rod is a completely different part though, right?

go to GSF car parts off the M50 or OTTO in Ranelagh and they'll have the rods

Cheers, might get brake discs off them too.

Will replacing the inner tie rods eliminate the problem reported; 'RH front wheel bearing has play'?

I'm no mechanic but the bearing is separate from the tie rods, so if the bearing has play, then you need to replace it. Probably not uncommon on an 11yr old car anyway
