Sewage pipe vs. flexible duct - Urgent

    Hi,
I have plastic duct (flexible) connected up to my extractor fan and it doesn't seem to be taking that much hot air away. It's a fairly powerful vortice 150 d0 extractor. Could the flexible duct (about 5metres) be the problem? I was considering sewage piping perhaps?

    Would that be much better?
