To cut hair, or not?

    I've been thinking about getting my hair done like Frankie from the Saturdays.. circa 2009. I've wanted to cut my hair short for about 2 years now but always chicken out, because I'm reealllyy nervous. I was wondering if anyone here had any experiences of short hair they'd like to share? Have you ever had it all chopped off, and did you like it, or regret it?

    Why don't you upload your photo onto the 'net and use one of those programmes that allows you to see what you'd look like with the new hairdo.
    I've always had long hair, and one time a butcher hairdresser misinterpreted me saying "trim" and cut LOADS off. It was above shoulder length but it didn't suit my face at all. I even cried!!

    I went from long hair (past my shoulders) to a crop in February and I love it.This was my reference picture for the hairdresser, but the back and sides of mine are shorter:

    If you often wear your hair up then you should be able to tell whether it will suit your face. I definitely feel less pretty/feminine without my long hair but I actually think it suits me and my face shape better. Also I think everyone should try a daring hairstyle once in their lives, what if it turns out to be an amazing signature look? ;)
