    Hi,

What is the service interval for the above car?

The dealer has stamped 15,000kms on the door sticker and book but the dash display says 30,000kms.

Which is correct and why ???

    Thanks,

    Mike.

VW recommends 30000kms, I wouldn't go by that or you will have trouble with your turbo and other things down the line. Stick with 15000kms and you'll be grand:)

Cars leave the factory with long life oil so 1st service is 30,000km.

Dealers stick their stickers on the windscreen or door pillar for 15,000km, as they make more money if they service the car more frequently than the manufacturer reccomends.

We run all our VW/Audi/Skoda's on 30,000km intervals.
