Where can I buy a Mpeg2/Mpeg4 Combi box?

Rather than replace my existing two year old TVs, where can I get an Mpeg4 box for the Irish Satellite signal? and can I get a 'combi box' that will also accept the input from my Satellite Dish, ergo one box for UK Dish + Irish Digital TV.

PS I'm not bothered if the box is stamped 'Saorview' or not, as long as it does the business :)

Where should I shop? Tesco, Maplin, Power City, Curry's, Argos maybe ???

Personally after trying both boxes and find the cheaper Ferguson Ariva 120 to be a far superior box to use, can be got from satellite.ie (aka Tony on here)

Thinking of getting one of these Ferguson HD Ariva 120 Combo myself but is this actually a Freesat branded box or just Freesat compatible.

Reading earlier threads Freesat Branded boxes was the only way to go!

There are no freesat branded combo boxes and very unlikely there ever will be as freesat wouldn't allow it, but as I said earlier I would have no problem reccomending the ferguson 120 over any of the other combo boxes mentioned.

But how does the Ferguson HD Ariva 120 stack up against the Triax ST-HD537 Combi? Is connectivity the same? I get the impression that the TRIAX has better connectivity (USB port), whereas the Ferguson only has one Scart port & no USB port?

I might be totally wrong, so can you please clarify.

No the ferguson has a usb port with time shift and recording functions as well as a decent music (mp3) and video (divx) player.
it has one scart and a HDMI, and a Rj45 network connection. Also already has a patched firmware available should you need CCCam or such like.
