Has anyone any experience of seeking jobs on the continent, Holland, Denmark, Germany etc. My own background is Power generation, Operations and maintenance. I went back to Uni last sep to finish a Masters. Initially I would be looking for an English speaking jobs but I am quick at picking up things so would be pretty confident of picking up the local language.

    Can anyone give any tips?
    Recommend recruitment agency?

I don't have any knowledge of your area, but most big international companies have English as a working language so it should not be too much of a problem. If you are coming out of college, then most companies offer some kind of grad. programs, but they require direct application.

Here is a link to ABB, which is located not far from where I live here in Switzerlad.

Most major companies have English as their business language, I work for a German company and I currently have a 100% German project but the common language is English for my company and the customer so the meetings are usually in 90% English with 10% German explaining points they do not understand. Documentation is 100% English.

The best approach is direct to the company so target their international websites and look under their careers section. My company is recruiting in your field all over Europe especially in renewables so look them up. Its one of the largest in the World and German so should be all the clues you need.
