    Hey guys,

I'm off to view a 04 Golf MK5 soon enough. Just wondering what these cars are like overall from someone that has one/owned one.

Anything specific i should be looking out for when i'm checking it out?

Any replies will be appreciated, thanks!

What's the engine size and is it a GT/GTi/petrol/diesel/manual/DSG - what exact model?

Its a 1.4l petrol sportline model, just did some research there on it and i'm very put off it now after reading its very heavy and slow , i'm driving a fast 1.6 at the moment and often enough drive a 2.0l and a 2.5l jeeps so i think it would seem very sluggish to me!

    But 5,500 is a good price! :)

Not really, it's 7 years old. 1.4 is gutless and far from trouble free.

You can pick up a 05, possibly 06 Focus 1.6 for similar money.
