From his childhood until his death at age 72, Don bosco had an amazing series of dreams. Many of these dreams are related in the Biographical Memoirs of Saint John Bosco, and in Fr. E. Brown's Dreams, Visions and Prophesies of Don Bosco.

His dreams gave him knowledge of what ws in the hearts and minds of the students of his Oratory. In addition he had clairvoyant dreams which revealed to him what was happening at a great distance.

But the most amazing dreams of Don Bosco were his prophetic dreams foretelling the future.
